Keeping your will safe Being able to safely store and easily locate your will could mean the difference to making a legally valid will that can be accessed and used right away, or dying “intestate” meaning that there was no will or that no will could be found. Once you have your will, you need it stored safely where people can’t randomly access it, but where your executors will be able to find it in order to execute your decisions. If your will cannot be found, or if it is damaged in any way, your executors will not be able to guarantee that your wishes will be instigated and the people that you want to benefit from your state will not be able to do so in the manner in which you have laid out.
